Brenda Gentles, RN, BS, MS
Brenda is a Registered Nurse with over twenty-five years of nursing experience and many years in leading major healthcare projects across the country. Currently, Brenda has direct oversight and responsibility for the day-to-day operations, monitoring, and evaluating of business processes for the Acquisitions, Legislative and Executive Services (ALES) work portfolio within the Office of Policy and Planning Support (OPPS). This role includes directing and managing staff in the coordination of legislative packages, procurement of services, emergency preparedness and executive services for the Immediate Office of ASPE. Brenda has extensive knowledge of acquisitions and contract management; diversity, inclusion, equity; and strategic planning. She is credentialed as a Contracting Officer Representative, Level III, holds a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University; an Executive Master of Science degree in Technology Management from the University Maryland Global Campus; and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from Washington Adventist University.
