This ASPE research brief suggests that for most men, fatherhood is restricted to marriage. A significant fraction of men, however, have complex fertility patterns including un-married births, but also mixtures of marital, cohabiting, and single births. A man's pattern of births is related to a wide range of social and economic circumstances.

This report summarizes key findings of a research initiative to survey consumers about their long-term care knowledge, attitudes and behavior both prior to and after a comprehensive consumer education campaign conducted in five states. [43 PDF pages]

Building on recent advances in the conceptualization of disability, this report uses data on how older Americans spend their time to provide insights into enhancements to common survey measures of activity limitation and participation restrictions experienced in late life.
